Also with Spivey, he was the only one of the group that wasn’t a college wrestler so it made even less sense. Funny enough though he was and still is a badass dude, he just sucked on promos and by this time his body was already busted up so his work wasn’t great either.

Not only are the 89 Flair/Steamboat matches amazing, they had some really good matches in the late 70s and early 80s also, when Flair was the TV champion and I think Steamboat’s first singles title win came against Flair back then. I wish they would have had more matches
